As Founder and Chairman I have overseen the growth of the business for the past 50 years and I am extremely proud of the machines that are developed and built here at our factory. I still remain involved with the business on a day to day basis, enjoying an active role in management within a wholly owned family business.
As Managing Director my role covers all areas of the business, from production to sales, finance to support. Having joined in 1996 I’ve worked in each department over the years and enjoy building teams that can deliver and exceed on our customer expectations.
Joined Richard Western Ltd in 2003. From a farming background and studied agriculture in Aberdeen. With over 35 years sales and marketing experience in the industry and a passionate interest in farm mechanisation, business development and customer care.
I joined the company in 1992 and enjoy the challenges of working on our range of machines that are manufactured on site. A process of continuous development and improvement keeps my team and I busy, the reward of seeing our products proving themselves out in the field.
Parts Sales Manager
I started out as a fabricator for the business in 1993 before I took over running the stores as parts manager in 2005. I enjoy the interaction with my customers and getting them the parts they require quickly and efficiently through our parts business.
Having run my own management and technology focused accountancy practice for 10 years, I joined the company in 2018 having sold the business. The opportunity to work with a growing manufacturer of premium farm machinery was too great and I am looking forward to making my contribution to the team with my financial skills.
